This is a great opportunity to learn how to graft fruit trees. We will provide all the materials and equipment.

The workshop will take place on Saturday 14th February at 10.00am to 1.00pm and be led by Matt McCabe in his barn at Barrow Mead.

We have 6 places remaining!

You will have the opportunity to graft 3 fruit trees. More Trees will then grow these fruit trees on for a couple of growing seasons at the Barrow Mead Tree Nursery.

If you would like to keep one of the trees to take it home, we are asking for a donation of £10 which will help cover the cost of the rootstock. Any rootstock not taken home will be potted up as part of the workshop and we would also ask you help clear up at the end of the workshop.

To book go to the Eventbrite link on the link in our bio.

We hope to see you there!

We are delighted to announce that we are the chari We are delighted to announce that we are the charity partner for this year’s award-winning @bathartfair and excited to be able to launch a fundraising raffle.

The Bath Art Fair runs from Friday 27th February to Sunday 1st March at the Bath Pavillion and showcases original contemporary art work, ceramics, jewellery and sculpture from over 80 of the nation’s leading independent artists, all under one roof.

The Fair is organised by Somerset Artist @alceharfield a strong advocate of opening up opportunities for artists in Somerset as well as partnering with charities to connect art with fundraising and raising £000s for local organisations.

The Bath Art Fair has previously raised around £2,000 each year for its chosen charity through a raffle and this year the prize is an original artwork donated by Alce. The painting was inspired by the iconic Legends slot at Glastonbury Festival.

“Bathed in glorious sunshine, the crowd was captivated by the boundless energy on stage… It was, quite simply, an unforgettable treat,” said Harfield.

Tickets are £5 per entry (multiple entries welcome). The raffle stays open for around a month after the fair, with the draw at the end of March 2026.

Enter via Localgiving and then complete the short entry form so we can confirm your entry and contact you if you win. Please see our bio for the direct links to both.

We will also be present at Bath Art Fair over the weekend, inviting visitors to learn more about local tree growing and planting—and how to get involved as a volunteer, donor, or community supporter.

We hope to see you there!

More Trees are looking for enthusiastic contributo More Trees are looking for enthusiastic contributors who share our values and have a strong interest in what we do.

We want to build the capacity of our governance to reflect and align with our values of collaboration, transparency, care and regeneration. Planning the succession of a stronger Board will ensure we are successful moving forward.

Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do - they are More Trees - and have worked tirelessly supporting our work. They have formed meaningful connections with the tree nurseries, the staff and each other. We are looking for Trustees that understand the value of this.

We want to see representation of volunteers on the Board and also want to bring people in with the right values, skills and experience for nurturing collaborative relationships and processes.

We are looking for Trustees that will work with our small but dedicated staff team to shape More Trees governance and strategy, in an open and inclusive approach.

If you have the passion and commitment to join us then we want to hear from you. We can provide support and training, so if you are interested in our work and keen to get involved, but not sure if you have the right experience, do get in touch for an initial chat.

Please see the linktree in our bio for more information and to view a copy of the recruitment pack.

We hope to hear from you!
