More trees now have 6 schools with mini-tree nurseries within Bath and nearby Radstock. The school nurseries typically involve one or two raised beds suitably designed for children and young people including those with additional needs. Launched in 2022, the school nurseries successfully grew over 300 trees which were planted out locally at Whiteway Green and other local sites in February 2023.
Our schools programme includes additional activities such as seed collecting and processing to maximise the learning, fun and educationbenefits from growing trees in their school grounds.
