St Michael’s Junior Church School sits in the heart of Twerton.
“We are really excited to be involved in this project. So much so that the children raised money for More Trees BANES with a hot chocolate fund raising event.
It is a great opportunity for the children to get hands on experience looking after a tree nursery! It will be wonderful for the children to watch how the tree saplings grow. It will be a lovely way for the children to learn about nature while also helping grow more trees for the local community.
The school is keen for the children to learn about nature, the environment and how to help look after it. The tree nursery will encourage hands on learning about nature. We’re pleased to be part of this project and hope to grow lots of trees for the future.”
