Lyncombe Hill Fields is situated just above Beechen Cliff and adjacent to Alexandra Park.
Although largely tucked away from close views, these fields are widely visible from further away and offer exceptionally beautiful views over the city and out to Bath’s skyline. From September 2020, the land, owned by the council, has been looked after under licence by the Friends of Lyncombe Hill Fields ensuring local management of the fields. The Fields support a range of features typical of the Cotswolds, including traditional grassland pasture, old hedgerows with wonderful mature trees and three tiny forests, and will now host a nursery and grow trees.
