Our Community Tree Nursery at Haycombe Vale is situated on an 8-acre smallholding, From the Land, founded by Su and Martin Hart in 2012.
Having laid fallow for 60 years, following permaculture and no-dig techniques, they have come together with friends and volunteers to grow flowers, fruit and vegetables, restoring the relationship between land and people and enriching the diversity of its natural habitat. As a low impact, small scale organic grower, providing a more ethical alternative to traditional farming, they will now be growing our trees in one of our newest nurseries.
